Tiny vegetable plot
Tiny vegetable patch
The red and white onions I planted on Oct 7Th. are Looking good.
The huckleberry at the far left of the first photo are not doing very well. I did not give them enough support and with the winds we have had they are pretty straggly looking.
Unless the fruit is delicious and I get loads, I don't think I will bother next year with the huckleberry.

I can not wait to see how well this blueberry turns out. It is a compact form and suitable for containers. It was tiny and has really put on a lot of growth since I first planted it. I will post updates on how well it turns out.
I paid 2.99 as a special offer when I ordered the fruit trees. I have seen them priced at 7.99 -9.99.
I love a bargain!

I had labelled the pots but unfortunately it rained and the labels came off. I think the one in the grey pot is the duo plum.
I will just have to wait until I see the leaves to be able to remember which of the others is the duo apple and which is the duo pear.

Patio dwarf fruit trees
Last week I received through the post some fruit trees I had ordered online for Lisa and Paul's last birthdays.
They were not in stock when I ordered them and have just arrived.
Earlier I posted a picture of the dwarf peach tree, this came down separately.
Tomorrow I will post up some photos of the apple, pear and plum
1 x duo apple Cox's Orange Pippin and Golden Delicious
1 x duo pear Conference and ?
1 x duo plum Victoria and ?
They have been planted in John Innes No 2 mainly because that Is what I had available.
They look lovely in the adverts when you buy them and it is a bit of a shock when you first receive bare twigs that is why I am holding on to them for a while before giving them as presents. I so hope they fruit.
At the moment they look like a couple of sticks in flower pots.
