After taking loads of photos with the intention of capturing a starburst this was my best attempt. A few of the other photos were way underexposed I look forward to working on this.

The above photos were taken using a close up conversion lens which I recently purchased. I had wanted to buy a 100m Macro but it was too expensive for my current level.

For my current needs the close conversion seemed adequate.

It has an adaptor that fits on my 50mm 1.8 lens with the close up lens attached to the adaptor.

I should of used a tripod as recommended. It was windy and I was impatient to try it out. I did figure out that it was easier using the manual focus.

These were taken a couple of weeks ago while exploring a cliff walk La Pulente to Corbiere way.

I came upon this bunker so took a few photos after climbing down a small bank.
It looks to be used as a party/ doss area.

On walking around and viewing from the coast side It does look as if the cliff area is eroding quite badly. I wonder how many years this will remain.

Today I took my Mum down to show her.

A quick nap

Chris

A routine to set your watch by.

In from work.

Open a can of Fosters.

TV on (only fools and horses.)

Light a candle...(dont ask)

Curtains drawn lights off.

Closes lounge door. (so no light gets in)

Settle into reclining electric chair.

10 Min's later head falls forward.

5 min's on, out for the count.

My routine

Lights on. Open curtains TV switched to the news.

A couple of hours pass, Chris wakes then without fail shouts "Oy I was watching that!" Before saying "turn those bloody lights off"

Thats Chris. love it.

My second attempt at photographing this cottage.

See post December.

Hope you like it. I did try an alternative perspective but was not happy with the result.

Cottage

Yesterday afternoon I walked Digby behind Chris's work in the country lanes. This cottage was at the bottom of one of the lanes.

I couldn't move further to the right to take the photo but with hindsight the composition may have looked better, had I moved further left. Then the row of trees could of been positioned more to follow the rule of thirds on a vertical.

Perhaps If it snows I will try again.

Another day. A little more practise.

St. Catherines boat yard.

The above two photos were taken one day apart.

Archirondel Tower

After leaving St. Catherines I stop off at Archirondel.
Three of the photos were taken from a car park situated above Archirondel.
Whereas, the first two i needed to go down steps which led from the car park to the left side of the tower.

I'm wondering if Chris noticed my ever so subtle hints I've been making on how having a tripod would be nice?

We don't usually bother getting presents for each other at Christmas so maybe it would be better waiting for January sales and seeing what happens then.
